About Re2O
Re2O is a skin booster that replenishes the extracellular matrix (ECM) — the structure outside the cells that makes up the dermis. About 89% of it is collagen, together with elastin and hyaluronic acid. The powder is mixed with hyaluronic acid and injected into the dermis with a fine needle, usually in three sessions 3–4 weeks apart. It is made by L&C Bio, supplied by Humedix, and launched in Korea in November 2024.
Where it comes from
Re2O is made from human skin. Donated skin tissue is processed by a licensed tissue bank, and the parts that can trigger an immune reaction, such as cells and fat, are removed so that only the skin's supporting structure remains. This human acellular dermal matrix (hADM) has long been used in surgery such as breast reconstruction and burn treatment; Re2O mills it finely enough to be injected.
Skin obtained through human tissue donation is managed by a licensed tissue bank.
The manufacturer's own process (AlloClean®) removes cells and components that can cause rejection while keeping the collagen structure.
Milled to an average of 100 µm or less, then mixed with hyaluronic acid right before injection.
How it works
Skin boosters work differently depending on what they put in. Rather than waiting for your skin to make new collagen, Re2O places skin-building components that are already formed right where they are needed.
Dermal structural components such as collagen and elastin go in directly and replenish the thinned dermis.
The matrix gives surrounding cells a framework to settle on, working together with your skin's own collagen formation.
The injected material is absorbed slowly over time, which is why the plan builds up over several sessions spaced apart.
Evidence
There are still few randomized human studies on Re2O. Here is the main published study, with its limitations.

This is a single-centre study of 20 people after one injection. One of the investigators advised on product development. Results vary between individuals and do not guarantee results at Dr. NewCell.

Process
The doctor looks at your skin thickness, texture and dryness and decides whether Re2O or another booster suits you, explaining the raw material and classification at the same time. There is no separate consultation with a non-doctor coordinator.
After cleansing, numbing cream is applied and left to work.
Re2O mixed with hyaluronic acid is injected evenly into the dermis across the face with a fine needle.
We finish with soothing care and book the next session 3–4 weeks later.
After Re2O
There may be needle marks and mild swelling or redness, which usually settle within 1–3 days.
Marks fade and your skin starts to feel hydrated and firmer.
The next session builds up the base components further.
The next treatment is timed to your skin; the interval differs from person to person.
Combination
Skin boosters are often planned alongside Potenza for pores and texture. Whether to add Re2O depends on your skin.
Lines caused by movement are treated with Botox; texture and fine lines with a skin booster.
Contours are handled with lifting such as XERF, and the skin's base with a skin booster.
