Trifill PROPores, texture and acne marks:
rebuilt from the dermis up.

Pores enlarge and texture roughens when dermal collagen thins and stops supporting the pore walls. Trifill PRO opens the space under the dermis with pressurized CO₂ gas and injects Olidia myo (PLLA) evenly into it so collagen rebuilds. Red and brown marks left by acne fade as blood flow recovers and the dermis regenerates, and pitted scars and stretch marks are treated the same way with the adhesion released as well. Gas, solution and gas, all in one shot.

ABOUT TRIFILL PRO

Trifill PRO is a CO₂ subcision and drug delivery system developed by MCURE. Instead of scraping adhesions with a needle as in manual subcision, it releases the tissue under the skin with pressurized CO₂ gas and, within the same shot, injects a regenerative solution precisely into the released space and spreads it evenly with a second burst of gas. At Dr. NewCell that solution is Olidia myo, a PLLA collagen stimulator, which restores dermal density: across the whole dermis for enlarged pores and rough texture, and into the released floor for pitted scars.

recommended for you if…

Who is it for

Pores, texture and acne marks are the most common Trifill PRO consultations at Dr. NewCell, followed by pitted scars and stretch marks. In every case the cause is in the dermis.

  • Pores stretched into vertical ovals that make makeup separate — the dermal collagen supporting the pore walls has thinned. Filling the dermis widely with PLLA makes pores look tighter.
  • Rough, dull texture with no glow — if surface treatments help briefly and then fade, the problem is dermal density. Texture changes from four to eight weeks as collagen builds.
  • Red or brown acne marks that have not faded for months — CO₂ raises blood flow and oxygen delivery so red marks recover, and brown marks lighten as the dermis regenerates.
  • Pitted acne scars on your cheeks that makeup cannot hide — rolling and boxcar scars have their adhesion released and the floor filled.
  • You have had Fraxel or other lasers several times and the pores or pits are unchanged — if the surface improved but the depth did not, the dermis and adhesion are still untreated.
  • Stretch marks · static neck and forehead lines — the tethered groove is released and filled with PLLA the same way. Stretch marks may need more sessions.
  • You want to avoid laser crusting and pigmentation — no heat, so no crusts; redness and injection marks settle in one to two days.

Pores and scars share one cause: the dermis

Fill the dermis, release what pulls

Pores enlarge and texture roughens when dermal collagen density falls and no longer supports the pore walls; pitted scars and stretch marks add a fibrous band that holds the surface down. Treatments that heat from above refine the surface but leave dermal density and that band untouched. Trifill PRO works from below.

1st fill · CO₂

Pressurized gas opens a space under the dermis

CO₂ enters beneath the dermis and opens a space; where there is a scar it also detaches the fibrous band. Wider and more even than needle subcision by hand.

2nd fill · Solution

PLLA injected into the released space

Before the space closes, Olidia myo goes precisely into that layer. Less risk of lumps (nodules) from product landing in the wrong layer.

3rd fill · CO₂

Gas spreads it evenly

A second burst of gas disperses the solution across the dermis around the pores. New collagen then supports the pore walls and fills the scar floor.

Evidence

What the tissue tests and the literature show

The manufacturer injected dye into porcine skin to compare methods. With the same volume, injection after CO₂ subcision spreads wide and even, while hand subcision or a plain injection pools at one point. For a treatment that must reach the dermis around every pore and the whole scar floor evenly, this difference decides the result.

Zelenková, Glob Dermatol 2017Mechanism and clinical experienceCO₂ lowers tissue pH, increasing oxygen release (Bohr effect) and blood flow. Pain is momentary; bruising in 5% if a vessel is hit. Change usually within 7–14 days after two sessions

The literature supports CO₂ gas injection itself and the sequential injection of a regenerative substance after CO₂. Trifill PRO is the device that performs that sequence automatically in one shot.

Different concerns, different tools

Which concerns it suits

Enlarged pores and rough texture call for PLLA spread widely through the whole dermis. Pitted acne scars are classified by shape as ice pick, boxcar or rolling, and each responds differently. Trifill PRO suits pores and texture, and rolling and boxcar scars where adhesion is the cause, best; narrow ice pick scars are combined with other treatments.

What is different

Dr. NewCell runs Potenza (microneedle RF) and Trifill PRO together. Potenza provides heat stimulation at the surface; Trifill PRO rebuilds dermal collagen density and releases adhesion. For pores and texture, using the two in order lasts longest.

Release is immediate, filling takes time

What happens after treatment

The release of adhesion shows at once; the collagen PLLA builds fills in over weeks. That is why the second session is scheduled four weeks later.

Right after

The dermis fills, the scar floor lifts

Gas and solution fill the space under the dermis so the skin around the pores feels firmer, and scars become shallower as the adhesion detaches. Injection marks, redness and slight swelling are present.

1–3 days

Marks settle

Redness and swelling subside. Washing and makeup are fine from the next day.

4–8 weeks

Collagen begins · second session

New collagen forms around the PLLA; pores begin to look tighter and texture smoother. The second session is done at four weeks.

3 months – 1 year+

Pores, texture and scar depth stabilize

Collagen production continues after the course, pores and texture hold, scar depth softens, and the PLLA gradually breaks down and leaves nothing behind.

Dermis with Trifill PRO, surface with Potenza

How Dr. NewCell combines treatments

Neither pores and texture nor scars finish with one treatment. We rebuild dermal density and lift depth first, then deal with surface texture, pore openings and red marks in order.

Enlarged pores +
rough texture

Trifill PRO → Potenza

Trifill PRO rebuilds dermal collagen density first; four weeks later Potenza refines pore openings and surface texture. In the reverse order the surface improves briefly and then reverts. If pitted scars are present, the adhesion is released in the same sequence.

Process

Pores and scars alike, examined by the doctor

Which layer to fill, how much, and where to release decide the result. Misreading pores, texture or scar type means no effect or over-filling, so the doctor handles everything from consultation to treatment.

01

Doctor consultation · pores, texture, scars

Seated, the doctor checks pore laxity and texture, then presses each scar to tell rolling, boxcar, ice pick and stretch marks apart and marks where adhesion is the cause.

02

Numbing cream, 30 min

Topical anesthetic, then cleansing. No injected or sedation anesthesia.

03

Treatment, 20–40 min

The handpiece is placed vertically on the skin; suction holds it and gas, solution and gas go in automatically. Pores and texture: the whole cheek in one pass with 20% overlap; scars: one shot each.

04

Check · second session in 4 weeks

You see the shallower pits in the mirror together, then decide on the second session in four weeks and any combination such as Potenza.

Aftercare

After your treatment

Normal reactions

  • Pressure, warmth and a sting as the gas enters, settling within seconds.
  • Injection marks and redness for one to two days; swelling from a few hours to two or three days.
  • A small bruise may appear if a vessel is touched and usually fades within a week.
  • Wash gently the same day, makeup from the next day. Avoid saunas, alcohol and firm massage of the area for a week.
  • After PLLA, massage the area gently for five minutes a day for five days so it settles evenly.

Please tell us beforehand

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Active acne inflammation, infection or wounds in the area (treated after it calms)
  • Keloid tendency, autoimmune disease, or anticoagulant use
  • Severe cardiovascular or thrombotic disease (CO₂ injection is contraindicated)
  • Filler in the area within the last three months, or recent thread lifting

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on pores and skin texture?
Pores enlarge and texture roughens when dermal collagen thins and no longer supports the pore walls. Trifill PRO opens the space under the dermis with CO₂ and injects Olidia myo (PLLA) widely and evenly to rebuild collagen density, so from four to eight weeks pores look tighter and texture smoother. Pores and texture are the most common reason patients ask for Trifill PRO at Dr. NewCell.
Does it help red and brown acne marks?
Red marks left after acne are dilated vessels and residual inflammation; brown marks are pigment that settled after inflammation. CO₂ gas increases blood flow and oxygen delivery in the tissue, which helps red marks recover, and as PLLA regenerates the dermis the marks fade and texture evens out. Dark brown marks are combined with a pigment laser or skin boosters.
Does Trifill PRO hurt? Is anesthesia used?
A topical anesthetic cream is applied first. There is a brief pressure, sting and warmth as the gas enters, which settles within seconds. A fine 30G needle and automatic injection make it more even than a hand-pushed syringe.
How many Trifill PRO sessions do I need?
We recommend a course of two to three sessions four weeks apart. In the literature, atrophic scars take two to six sessions three to four weeks apart, and stretch marks may need more. The number is decided in consultation by scar depth and adhesion.
When will I see results?
The scar floor lifts immediately once the gas releases the adhesion, and from four to eight weeks, as PLLA builds collagen, depth and texture improve gradually. The difference is clear one month after the second session.
How is it different from Fraxel or Potenza?
Lasers and microneedle RF stimulate regeneration with heat from the surface, but the adhesive fibrous band pulling the scar down from below remains. Trifill PRO releases that adhesion first with CO₂ gas and fills the space with a collagen stimulator, so it suits deeply pitted rolling and boxcar scars. Surface texture is best handled with Potenza in combination.
Does it work on stretch marks?
Stretch marks are atrophic scars where dermal collagen has torn, so the same principle applies. CO₂ gas injection is rated 'good' for stretch mark texture and tone in the literature, though more sessions may be needed than for scars.
Is there downtime?
Injection marks and redness for one to two days, swelling from a few hours to two or three days. A small bruise can appear if a vessel is touched and fades within a week. Unlike lasers there is little concern about crusting or pigmentation.
What is Olidia myo and is it safe?
Olidia myo is a PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) tissue-repair material approved by the Korean MFDS (No. 21-599). After injection it stimulates fibroblasts to make collagen and elastin, and the PLLA itself breaks down into water and carbon dioxide over time, leaving nothing behind.
Can I have it after filler or Botox?
Areas with filler are treated three months later. Botox is unrelated if the areas do not overlap; overlapping areas are spaced two weeks apart.
How long does it take?
About an hour including 30 minutes of numbing cream; the treatment itself takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on the area.

Visiting from abroad

If two visits are hard: first session here, follow-up from home

Trifill PRO tightens enlarged pores and smooths rough texture by filling the dermis with PLLA (Olidia myo) after opening it with CO₂ gas, and repairs pitted acne scars and stretch marks by releasing the adhesion underneath. Two or three sessions four weeks apart are ideal. If you can visit only once, we do the first session in Seoul and follow your progress by LINE, KakaoTalk or email.
