About REJURAN
REJURAN is a skin booster in which polynucleotides (PN) purified from salmon DNA are injected into the dermis with a fine needle. PN is a clear gel with a set viscosity that stays in the skin and breaks down gradually, helping damaged skin recover. In Korea it is approved as a medical device in the category of tissue-repair biomaterials, and its approved purpose is the temporary improvement of facial wrinkles in adults. It is often called the "salmon injection" or "Rejuran Healer".
Line-up
All four use the same DOT® PN, but the concentration and added ingredients differ. PharmaResearch made them so the product can be chosen "according to your skin concern" — which one we use is decided by the doctor after examining you.

How it works
It does not build volume like a filler, nor does it simply draw in water like hyaluronic acid. The PN that stays in the dermis creates conditions in which the skin can settle by itself, which is why the change becomes clearer when sessions are built up over time rather than done once.
Small amounts are placed evenly in the dermis with a fine needle. As a gel, it stays where it is placed rather than spreading straight away.
PN keeps its form in the body and breaks down gradually, supporting conditions in which tired skin can settle.
As it is absorbed it needs topping up at intervals — hence the standard plan of 3–4 sessions 2–4 weeks apart.

Evidence
Research on PN skin boosters is growing but still small in scale. Here are a representative trial and a recent systematic review, with their limits.

Whether the product studied is the same as REJURAN differs from paper to paper; results vary between individuals and do not guarantee results at Dr. NewCell. A 2014 phase III paper on REJURAN for crow's feet was retracted in 2016 and is not used here.

Sessions
A typical plan is 3–4 sessions 2–4 weeks apart. The number of sessions and the interval are adjusted at consultation according to your skin, your goals and any other treatments.
Small raised bumps appear where the product was placed and usually settle within 1–2 days.
Redness, swelling or itching can occur and may last up to about a week.
You return for the next session and build up the change.
